简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide : a manufacturing method by which a positive electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery can be easily manufactured, the positive electrode containing a sulfur-based positive electrode active material; a positive electrode manufactured using the manufacturing method; and a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery. SOLUTION : The method for manufacturing a positive electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a heat treatment process for heating a mixed raw material containing a carrier, sulfur and a compounding agent. A material including at least one metal or metal compound selected from the group consisting of a 4th period metal, a 5th period metal, a 6th period metal and a rare earth element is used as the compounding agent.
