PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth permanent magnet with excellent magnetic properties and also having high electric resistance, and a method for producing a rare earth permanent magnet.SOLUTION : A rare earth permanent magnet according to an embodiment is obtained as follows : a mixed powder of an anisotropic magnet powder of rare earth iron-based magnet and a binder powder comprising an inorganic binder for binding the anisotropic magnet powder is subjected to discharge plasma sintering at a sintering temperature near a softening point of the inorganic binder.SELECTED DRAWING : None |
