PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an oxygen ion conductor which can efficiently decompose an associated gas, and an electrochemical cell and an electrochemical apparatus equipped with the oxygen ion conductor.
SOLUTION : The oxygen ion conductor includes an ion conduction part and an electron conduction part, wherein the ion conduction part contains zirconium oxide containing at least one of calcium oxide, gallium oxide, and rare earth oxides as a stabilizer and the electron conduction part contains lanthanum chromite type perovskite oxide with which at least one of titanium, vanadium, manganese, iron and cobalt forms a solid solution. The electrochemical cell and the electrochemical apparatus are each equipped with the oxygen ion conductor.
