PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an oxide superconductive wire material having high superconducting characteristics in a magnetic field of a wide temperature range, and to provide a manufacturing method of an oxide superconductive wire material capable of manufacturing the oxide superconductive wire material with a small number of steps.
SOLUTION : An oxide superconductive wire material 10 includes a tape-like substrate 11, an intermediate layer 12 provided on the substrate 11, and an oxide superconducting layer 13 composed of an oxide superconductor represented by a composition formula of RE1Ba2Cu3O7-δ(in the formula, RE represents one or more than one kind of rare earth element) and provided on the intermediate layer 12. The kind of RE element of the oxide superconductor composing the oxide superconducting layer 13 is different in the width direction thereof.
