PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth permanent magnet and a manufacturing method of the same, capable of improving productivity by improving thickness accuracy of a green sheet.
SOLUTION : A mixture containing 1 wt% to 40 wt% of a binder is produced by mixing a magnet powder, formed by pulverizing a magnet raw material, and a binder. By accurately coating the produced mixture onto a substrate, a green sheet of a sheet-shape having thickness accuracy equal to or within ±5% against a preset value is manufactured. Then, by holding the manufactured green sheet under non-oxidation atmosphere at a binder decomposition temperature for a certain time, the binder is decomposed into monomer by depolymerization reaction and the like, scattered, and removed. Then, the green sheet, from which the binder is removed, is sintered with pressure sintering such as SPS sintering, and thereby a permanent magnet 1 is manufactured.
