PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth metal complex emitting monochromatic light derived from rare earth metal ion and having excellent solubility in organic solvents, heat-resistance, deposition characteristics, etc. ?SOLUTION : The carboxylic acid-diketone conjugate rare earth metal complex is composed of a carboxylic acid ligand expressed by formula (1), a 1, 3-diketone compound ligand expressed by formula (2) and a trivalent rare earth metal.
