Method for producing monosilane (SiH4) comprising at least one step a) of reaction in a reactor (1) of at least one silicon alloy of formula M1xM2ySiz, in which M1 is a reducing metal, M2 an alkali or alkaline-earth metal, x, y and z vary from 0 to 1, z being other than 0 and the sum x + y being other than 0, with an acid solution, said reaction being electrochemically assisted by cathodic polarization of the alloy in the acid solution by application of a current density or a voltage such that the molar degree of conversion of silicon contained in said alloy to monosilane is greater than at least 80%. |
