PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an image diagnostic apparatus having both suppression of a high frequency noise and suppression of an earth leakage current without using a high power isolation transformer.
SOLUTION : The image diagnostic apparatus 2 for generating a desired voltage V2 from an AC power source 1, using a rectification circuit 3 and a switching circuit 4, and supplying electric power to a heavy load 5 includes a detection circuit 8 for detecting an earth leakage current LC from power source lines L1-L3 of the AC power source 1 and a cancellation current supply circuit 9 for applying a current-LC of a reversed phase to an earth line E1 so as to cancel the detected earth leakage current LC.
