PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To improve critical current performance even in the case of a single layer.
SOLUTION : The oxide superconducting thin film formed on a base material contains RE-based superconductor units 20 as a main component. The RE-based superconductor units 20 have CuO2 planes 22, CuO single-chains 24, and CuO heavy-chains 26, and further have different chain portions where the CuO single-chains 24 and the CuO heavy-chains 26 are adjacent to each other, and have the same chain portions where the CuO single-chains 24 are adjacent to each other or the CuO heavy-chains 26 are adjacent to each other.
