PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a capping sheet for covering waste which has waterproofness/moisture permeability and excellent earth/sand washout stopping properties for soil covering the ground. SOLUTION : This capping sheet for covering waste is of a two-ply laminar construction consisting of at least, a first fiber sheet and a waterproof moisture-permeable sheet. In addition. an anti-skid fibrous material composed of a hot melt adhesive is arranged on the surface of the first fiber sheet. This anti-skid fibrous material is characterized in that its amount applied is 15 g/m2to 100 g/m2and the maximum fiber diameter is not less than 0.1 mm and the minimum fiber diameter is not more than 50% of the maximum fiber diameter.
