PURPOSE : A magnesium aluminate spinel phosphor is provided to use a single phosphor powder, to have simple production cost, to have simple process, and to be economic by not using a rare earth metal as a dopant, but using a transition metal.CONSTITUTION : A magnesium aluminate spinel phosphor is a powder which has a spinel structure and Ti-doped A_(1-x)B_(2-y)O_(4-z) composition and emits white light, where x, y, and z are molar fractions, 0.8>x>=0, 0.66>y>=0, 1.0>z>=0, and 0.1>Ti or the phosphor powder is a powder which has a spinel structure and Ti-doped A_(1-x)B_(2-y)O_(4-z) composition and emits white light, where A is a divalent metal, B is trivalent atom, x, y, and z are molar fractions, 0.8>x>=0, 0.66>y>=0, 1.0>z>=0, and 0.1>Ti.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013 |
