PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a driven roller device for earth and sand discharge, capable of preventing slippage of a rod conveyor by pushing out the earth and sand or soil mass that has penetrated into the rod conveyor, and also capable of reducing labor hours for cleaning the inside of the rod conveyor by continuously shaking off the earth and sand, and to provide a rod conveyor using the same, and a root crop harvester provided with the rod conveyor.
SOLUTION : The driven roller device 23 used for the rod conveyor 2 including a plurality of conveyor rod groups 25 erected between a pair of lateral endless belts 24 has a driven roller body 231 which is formed in a substantially cylindrical shape having a length extending from one endless belt 24 to the other endless belt 24, the outer circumferential surface thereof being disposed at a position contacting with or close to the inside surfaces of the conveyor rod groups 25.
