The present invention relates to a fuel pump pumping fuel by driving force of half-magnet brushless DC motor in a liquid propane injection (LPI) or liquefied petroleum gas direct injection (LPDI) system. According to the present invention, the fuel pump comprises : a motor unit mounting multiple magnets (35) to a rotor (31) with an air gap (33a) in a buried type, and including a snap ring (24) and a wave washer (37) in a bearing (21) supporting an end part of a shaft (13); and a pump unit (40) concentrically coupled to the shaft (13) of the motor unit (30) and using three chambers (45) to cause pumping of fuel. Accordingly, a rare earth brushless DC (BLDC) motor-driven pump is mounted in an LPG fuel supply system of a vehicle such that a compact structure is realized, thereby providing effects of improving performance, and reducing noise, consumption current, and manufacturing costs.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019 |
