PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a continuous casting method for a molten steel using a sliding nozzle plate, with which occurrence of clogging of a nozzle when a molten steel comprising rare earth elements is cast. ?SOLUTION : In the continuous casting method for the molten steel comprising the rare earth elements within the range of 0.001 to 0.10 mass%, as a molten steel flow rate regulation mechanism in the nozzle discharging a molten steel from a ladle and/or a tundish, by using a sliding nozzle plate with a two layer or three layer constitution in which a contact face with the molten steel is composed of refractories to which rare earth element based inclusions are hardly stuck, the clogging of the nozzle is prevented. In the above method, as the refractories to which rare earth element based inclusions are hardly stuck, the refractories comprising MgO by ≥85 mass% are preferably used. ?COPYRIGHT : (C)2010, JPO&INPIT ? |
