The present invention relates to an eco-friendly paint composition having a rare earth component and a preparation method thereof. Specifically, the paint composition is formed of a rare-earth element and a silica component such that the composition absorbs indoor and outdoor harmful components and enables components favorable to the human body to be generated at the same time. The paint composition of the present invention comprises the steps of : firing a rare earth metal at the temperature of 700 to 1, 200° C to obtain a fired rare earth metal; forming powder having an average diameter of 10 to 150 μ m from the fired rare earth metal, thereby obtaining rare-earth metal powder; preparing a binder, and an additive consisting of silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, titanium dioxide, potassium oxide, and iron oxide; and injecting the rare-earth metal powder and the additive along with the binder into a solvent, wherein the rare earth metal is contained in the paint composition in an amount of 0.2 to 2.0 wt% with respect to 100 wt% of silicon dioxide.(P11) Firing a rare-earth element(P12) Forming a powder(P13) Preparing an additive/a binder(P141) Paint(P142) TileCOPYRIGHT KIPO 2019 |
