PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a transfer foil which can be easily transferred onto a medium (transfer object) such as a brand-name product, a card, etc. with a good foil break and makes security properties excellent in the medium subjected to transfer and which protects the surface of the medium even in the repeated use in many times and has a fluorescent layer superior in durability, including heat resistance and light-resistance, in addition to mar resistance, solvent resistance, etc., and to provide an anticounterfeit medium. SOLUTION : In the transfer foil constituted by providing a base 11 and at least a release layer 13, the fluorescent layer 15 and an adhesive layer 19 on one side of the base 11, the fluorescent layer 15 contains an ionizing radiation curing resin of hard coat properties and a rare earth complex of fluorescence properties, and the absorption wavelength region of the ionizing radiation curing resin is different from that of the rare earth complex of fluorescence properties.
