PURPOSE : A composition for optical filters, a glass for optical filters including the same and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enhance durability and water resistance of glasses.CONSTITUTION : A composition for optical filters comprises one of alkaline earth metal oxide or zinc oxide(ZnO), alkali metal oxide, copper oxide (CuO), and phosphorus pentoxide(P2O5). 40-55 weight% of the phosphorus pentoxide(P2O5) is included based on 100 weight% of the composition. The alkali metal oxide is one of lithium oxide (Li2O), oxidation sodium (Na2O) or potassium oxide (K2O). The alkaline earth metal oxide is one of barium oxide (BaO), magnesium oxide (MgO), calcium oxide (CaO) or strontium oxide (SrO). The composition for optical filter additionally includes a crosslinking agent and alumina. A manufacturing method of the glass for the optical filter comprises the following steps : pulverizing and mixing the composition for the optical filters; forming a molten solution by heating and melting the composition for the optical filters; molding the molten solution; and cooling the molten solution.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013 |
