简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a high strength copper alloy having excellent external appearance after bending. SOLUTION : A Cu-Co-Si-based alloy strip having high strength and excellent external appearance after bending, being a Cu-Co-Si-based alloy composed of, by mass%, 0.2-3.5% Co and 0.02-1.0% Si, and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities, can contain, as a third element group, one or more kinds selected from a group composed of Mn, Fe, Mg, Ni, Cr, V, Nb, Mo, Zr, B, Zn, Sn, Ag, Be, Mischmetal and P in the range of ≤1.0 mass% in total, and is characterized in that the ratio of the number of lines in a shear zone on the surface layer to that in the shear zone at the center part of the sheet thickness is ≤1.0, and crystal grain size is ≤20 μm, and the number of precipitated grains having 1-10 μm grain size on the surface layer is ≤3.0×104 pieces/mm2. In the Cu-Co-Si-based alloy strip, preferably, the number of lines in the shear zone on the surface layer is ≤330 pieces/10, 000 μm2 and the ratio of the number of the precipitated grains having 1-10 μm grain size on the surface to that at the center part of the sheet thickness is ≤1, and the Cu-Co-Si-based alloy is subjected to a solution heat treatment where the solution heat treatment temperatue is controlled within the solid solubility limit temperature +25°C.
