PURPOSE : A ceramic powder for containers and a manufacturing method thereof using zirconia are provided to reduce content of bone ash and to display enough strength.CONSTITUTION : A ceramic powder for containers comprises bone ash and zirconia which is stabilized by stabilizer. The stabilizer comprises one or more compounds selected from rare earth metal oxides, calcium oxide and magnesium oxide. The stabilizer is 3 mol% of yttrium oxide. The ceramic powder for containers includes 5-30 wt% of bone ash and 70-95 wt% of zirconia. A manufacturing method of the ceramic sintered body for containers comprises the following steps : obtaining a mixture by mixing the bone ash with zirconia; incinerating the mixture; molding the incinerated mixture; pre-glazing the molded product at 900-1300 deg. Celsius; making a shape by processing the pre-glazing molded product; and sintering the processed molded product.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013 |
