The loop (10) has a passage conduit (22) passing through a cylinder head (24) of an engine (12), and an incandescent particle stop filter (26) including a catalytic phase with a hydrocarbon oxidation catalyst, where the filter is provided inside the passage conduit. The filter includes a metallic structure with a mesh section comprised between 1 to 3 square millimeters. The catalytic phase has precious metal e.g. platinum and palladium, and a zeolite material. The catalytic phase has an active oxidation phase with elements e.g. transition metal oxides and rare-earth metal oxides. |
