PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To efficiently recover a target metal, in which the target metal can be recovered while the material density of the metal is remained at high rate.
SOLUTION : A method for recovering a metal includes the steps of : generating plasma in the liquid; charging a material containing a rare metal or noble metal into the liquid; precipitating the material in the liquid after the material is subjected to the plasma irradiation, and is dissolved and atomized; and recovering nanoparticles of the precipitated rare metal or noble metal.
