PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method and an apparatus for recovering hydrogen-pulverized powder of a raw material alloy for a rare earth magnet, capable of improving magnetic characteristics by reducing an oxygen amount of an obtained rare earth magnet, and capable of adjusting an oxygen content of hydrogen-pulverized powder.
SOLUTION : In a method for recovering hydrogen-pulverized powder of a raw material alloy for a rare earth magnet, a raw material alloy for a rare earth magnet in a processing vessel is discharged in a recovery chamber after a pressure in the recovery chamber is reduced, oxygen-containing gas or oxygen-containing gas and inert gas is introduced into the recovery chamber simultaneously after the raw material alloy for a rare earth magnet is discharged in the recovery chamber, and the raw material alloy for a rare earth magnet is recovered in a recovery vessel after a pressure and an oxygen concentration in the recovery chamber are set to a predetermined pressure and a predetermined oxygen concentration, respectively.
