PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for producing a ceramic film-forming composition which can easily produce the ceramic film-forming composition containing an alkaline earth metal complex with 2-ethylhexanoate as a ligand without using a hazardous material, and to provide a piezoelectric ceramic film and a method for producing the alkaline earth metal complex.
SOLUTION : The method for producing the ceramic film-forming composition includes : a step of preparing a mixed solution containing acetate of an alkaline earth metal and the 2-ethylhexanoate; and a step of obtaining a complex solution containing the alkaline earth metal complex with the 2-ethylhexanoate as the ligand by heating the mixed solution to a temperature equal to or higher than the boiling point of acetic acid, thereby obtaining the ceramic film-forming composition containing the complex solution.
