简介 The purpose of the present invention is to provide : a positive electrode active material for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, capable of dramatically improving battery characteristics such as continuous charging characteristics (especially continuous charging characteristics at high temperatures) and cycle characteristics by suppressing reactions between the positive electrode and decomposed electrolyte transferred from the negative electrode and reactions between the positive electrode and the electrolyte; etc. The positive electrode active material is characterized by a compound including a rare earth element and a fluorine element being adhered to the surface of a lithium transition metal complex oxide and by the average particle diameter of said compound being 1-100 nm.
