简介 Disclosed is a positive electrode containing a sulfur-based positive electrode active substance and capable of increasing discharge rate characteristics and the cycle characteristics of lithium ion secondary batteries. The positive electrode for lithium ion secondary batteries contains a sulfur-based positive electrode active substance which contains carbon (C) and sulfur (S), and a conductive material which contains sulfur (S), wherein at least one part of said conductive material is a sulfide of at least one metal selected from the group consisting of the fourth-period metals, fifth-period metals, sixth-period metals, and rare earth elements.
