PURPOSE : Silica hollow particles, a method for manufacturing the same, a silica-titania complex hollow particle, and a method for manufacturing the silica-titania complex hollow particles are provided to implement mass production under a high concentration condition.
CONSTITUTION : A method for manufacturing silica hollow particles based on a spray-drying method includes the following : a solvent and an additive are mixed and ultrasound wave-dispersed for 2 to 5 minutes to prepare a first solution; a colloidal silica undergoes a diluting process, a pH adjusting process, a solvent-substituting process, and a re-diluting process to obtain a second solution; the first solution and the second solution are mixed and ultrasound wave-dispersed to prepare a precursor sol; the precursor sol is spray-dried using a spray drier.
