简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To further improve the amount of hydrogen to be occluded in a hydrogen storage alloy using Mg, Ni, rare earth elements, or the like, as the main constituting elements and to suppress the reduction in the reversible amount of hydrogen to be occluded caused by the occlusion and discharge of hydrogen in the hydrogen storage alloy. SOLUTION : This hydrogen storage alloy has a composition expressed by (Mg1-xRx)(Ni1-yTy)z (R is at least one kind of element selected from rare earth elements including Y, Zr, Hf and Ca; T is at least one kind of element selected from Co, Mn, Fe, Al, Ga, Zn, Sn, Cu, Si, Cr, Ti, V, Nb and B; and 0=250 μm is <=10 vol.%. The Ni-hydrogen secondary battery contains the above hydrogen storage alloy as a negative electrode material.
