简介 To provide a diffusion source that improves magnet properties of R-T-B sintered magnet.SOLUTION : A diffusion source 30 comprises the powder 30 of an alloy containing a rare earth element R1, which must contain at least one of dysprosium (Dy) and terbium (Tb), at a rate of 40 mass% or more of the whole amount. The alloy powder 30 comprises particles 30 of an intermetallic compound with an average crystal grain size of more than 3 μm, with the particles 30 having a circular cross section. The diffusion source 30 comprises the powder 30 of an RHRLM1M2 alloy with an oxygen content of 0.5-4.0 mass% (RH is actinoid selected from Sc, Y, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Yb and Lu; RL is lanthanoid selected from La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Pm, Sm and Eu, and must contain at least one of praseodymium (Pr) and neodymium (Nd); M1, M2 are at least one selected from Cu, Fe, Ga, Co, Ni and Al).SELECTED DRAWING : Figure 1B
