A surgical instrument (10) includes an elongated tubular member (12) defining longitudinal axis and having a lumen (14) extending therethrough. A light source is disposed within the elongated tubular member (12). The light source is configured to emit light from a distal end (16) of the elongated tubular member (12). A mirror assembly (100) is coupled to the distal end (16) of the elongated tubular member (12). The mirror assembly (100) is moveable between a retracted position and an extended position. In the retracted position, the mirror assembly (100) is positioned adjacent an outer surface (18) of the elongated tubular member (12). In the extended position, the mirror assembly (100) extends distally from the elongated tubular member (12) to re-direct light emitted by the light source. |
