PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a dispersion-type inorganic EL element that requires no moisture-proof measures, such as surface treatment of phosphor powders or use of a moisture-proof film, and is excellent in moisture resistance and durability, and phosphor powders for inorganic electroluminescence used for the same. SOLUTION : The phosphor powders for inorganic electroluminescence including oxide ceramics having perovskite-type crystal structure as a base includes a rare earth element which can serve as a luminescent center.
