PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method of synthesizing polyether polyol not using alkylene glycol as raw material but using water as raw material in which energy necessary in a purification process of alkylene glycol, and waste are eliminated, thereby contributing to environmental improvement of the earth.SOLUTION : A method for producing polyol comprises subjecting alkylene oxide to hydrolysis reaction with an acid catalyst, and adding an alkali metal hydroxide catalyst into the reaction mixture liquid to undergo addition of alkylene oxide appropriately.COPYRIGHT : (C)2012, JPO&INPIT |
