PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a magnet of high performance, along with its manufacturing method and its cooling method, which is high in cooling efficiency to allow occurrence of a strong magnetic field. SOLUTION : The oxide superconducting magnet includes a coil of oxide superconductor having such system as non-superconducting phase is finely dispersed in REBa2Cu3O7-xphase (RE is a rare earth element containing Y as well as a combination of such elements, and x is an oxygen deficiency amount) in single crystal state. A flow path in which a cooling medium passes is provided parallel to the surface of coil, so that the heat generated in the superconducting magnet is efficiently removed, thereby keeping the superconductor at a low temperature, with a high characteristics being maintained.
