PURPOSE : A heat-resistant magnesium alloy for casting is provided to enhance thermal characteristics inhibiting destruction through a grain boundary and matrix reinforcing.CONSTITUTION : A heat-resistant magnesium alloy for casting comprises next steps. The alloy comprises by weight 1 to 11%% Sn, 1 to 5%% Al, 0.5 to 3%% Ca, 0.5 to 3%% Sr, 0.2 to 2%% Ce, 0.2 to 2%% Misch Metal, 0.1 to 2%% yttribium, Mg and impurities. Mg2Sn of strengthener in an Mg-Sn series is thermally stable and enhances the characteristics of high temperature.
