PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method of managing addition of flocculant capable of causing a flocculant to act efficiently at a low cost in accordance with turbidity.
SOLUTION : The method of managing addition of flocculant includes : a process of collecting a sample such as earth and sand on the site of construction object and preparing a plurality of turbid water having turbidity different from one another from the sample; a process of measuring addition amounts of the flocculant 10 required for lowering the turbidity to a prescribed reference for each of the prepared turbid water having different turbidity, estimating a correlation equation between the turbidity and the required amount of the flocculant 10 and setting the estimated correlation equation to a controller 20 controlling the addition mechanism 8 of the flocculant 10; and a process of obtaining the turbidity of turbid water 3 as an object to be treated from a turbidimeter 25, determining the required amount of the flocculant 10 by applying the turbidity to the correlation equation, and controlling the addition mechanism 8 such that the flocculant 10 of the determined required amount is added to the turbid water 3.
