PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To eliminate the need of a vertical shaft in a bank construction part and to eliminate the need of an earth-retaining wall on a traverse part front surface, in an execution method (SFT construction method) of an underground structure for press-fitting a box-shaped roof and then extruding soil together with the box-shaped roof along with the driving of a concrete box body.
SOLUTION : In the execution method of an underground structure for assembling and arranging the box-shaped roof 4 in the rectangular array of a lower stage, a side part and an upper stage so as to correspond to the outer shape of the concrete box body 5 to be driven, press-fitting it underground, then arranging the distal end part of the box body at the end part of the box-shaped roof 4, and extruding soil 11a of a face part together with the box-shaped roof 4 along with the driving and traction of the box body, the lower stage of the box-shaped roof 4 is installed beforehand, a timber support 12 for supporting the upper stage of the box-shaped roof 4 is assembled near both ends in the length direction of the box-shaped roof 4 on the lower stage of the box-shaped roof 4, the side part and upper stage of the box-shaped roof 4 are installed, and the soil inside the box-shaped roof 4 is extruded together with the box-shaped roof 4 along with the driving and traction of the concrete box body 5.
