Disclosed is a manufacturing method for a copolymer of conjugated diene compounds and olefins other than conjugated diene compounds. The disclosed method is characterised in that conjugated diene compounds and olefins other than conjugated diene compounds are copolymerised in the presence of a polymerisation catalyst composition which contains a component (component A), which is a rare earth element compound or a reactant of a rare earth element compound and a Lewis base, and a component (component B), which is at least one kind selected from the group consisting of an ionic compound (B-1) formed from a non-coordinating anion and cation, aluminoxane (B-2), and at least one kind of halogen compound (B-3) from among a Lewis acid, a complex compound of a metal halide and a Lewis base, and an organic compound containing active halogen. (Therein, if the polymerisation catalyst composition includes at least one kind of halogen compound (B-3) and an ionic compound (B-1), the composition further includes an organometal compound (component C)). |
