FIELD : process engineering.
SUBSTANCE : invention relates to oxygen accumulation components for catalytic off-gas neutralisers of automotive exhaust systems, particularly, ICE running on gasoline. Invention covers mixed oxide for oxygen accumulation containing cerium dioxide in amount of 10 to 80 wt % and tin oxide in amount below 0.5 wt %. Said mixed oxide may also contain zirconium dioxide, yttrium oxide and oxides of other rare-earth metals. Invention covers also oxygen accumulation material for catalytic neutralisers of off-gases for automotive exhaust systems that contain oxide.
EFFECT : reduced catalyst activation temperature in cold starting.
