To purify flue gases (1), the process following the invention includes/understands the following stages : - one makes cross to gas-solid smoke a separator (101), - one admits in an engine of activation (102) : • a fraction (5) of the solid residues (3) from the separator (101), this fraction lying between 50 and 95% of the total flow of the solid residues (3) from the separator, • a reagent (6) made up of alkaline-earth oxide, and • a gas flow (8) containing between 25 and 100% of steam in volume, the time of passage of the solids in the engine (102) lying between 1 and 30 minutes, and - one recycles towards the separator (101) the solids (7) from the engine (102), by mixing them with smoke to purify (1) upstream separator. |
