PURPOSE : A phosphor particle is provided to restrain the fluorescent of the amount, the distribution and the size of phosphor particles, and offer a light-emitting diode, an illuminating device and a liquid crystal panel backlight device in which the fluorescent of degree of color.
CONSTITUTION : A phosphor particle contains garnet phase in the chemical formula 1, of which average particle diameter is 5-50micron, average circularity is 0.3 or less, and has spherical-shape. In the chemical formula 1, A is one or more are earth elements selected from Y, Gd and Lu, B is one or more rare earth elements selected from Ce, Nd and Tb, C is one or more atoms selected from Al and Ga, 0.002<=x<=0.2. The dispersion index of the phosphor particles is 0.1-0.7. The bulk density is 1.3-4g/cm^3.
