PURPOSE : A catalyst for pyrolyzing hydrocarbon vapor, a method for preparing the same, and a method for manufacturing olefin using the same are provided to improve the productivity by reducing the increase of a differential pressure in a reactor. CONSTITUTION : A complex catalyst for pyrolyzing hydrocarbon vapor is prepared by mixing and sintering an oxide catalyst and a silicon carbide carrier. The oxide catalyst is one or more selected from a group including compounds which are represented by chemical formulas 1 to 4. A copper oxide carried on the surface of the complex catalyst is further added. In the chemical formula 1, j is between 0.5 and 120, and x satisfies the atomic valence of the j. In the chemical formula 2, A represents Ti, Nb, Mo, V, Co, Ni, W, Fe, or rear earth elements. j is between 0.5 and 120, and k is between 1 and 50. x satisfies the atomic valence of the j and k. j/k is between 0.5 and 5. In the chemical formula 3, i is between 0.1 and 50, and k is between 0.5 and 100. x satisfies the atomic valence of the i and k, and i/k is between 0.01 and 3. In the chemical formula 4, A represents Ti, Nb, Mo, V, Co, Ni, W, Fe, or rear earth elements. i is between 0.1 and 50, j is between 0.01 and 30, and k is between 0.5 and 100. x satisfies the atomic valence of the i and k, and i/k is between 0.01 and 3. |
