PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for recycling of a liquid crystal panel, capable of recycling indium being valuables and glass being a majority of weight as materials, by safely separating the materials from the waste liquid crystal panel using little labor and energy without the use of large scale equipment.
SOLUTION : The method is provided for recycling the liquid crystal panel in which a polymer film is stuck on one side of a glass substrate and a rare metal is deposited on the other side. The method includes a crushing and separation process of crushing the liquid crystal panel by hitting the panel, and of separating the crushed pieces of the glass substrate from the polymer film for recovery.
