PURPOSE : A sulfide phosphor is provided to ensure excellent luminescent brightness(luminescence intensity) and chromatic purity(green degree) by comprising crystals with a specific composition. CONSTITUTION : A sulfide phosphor comprises crystals represented by chemical formula : (A_(1-x-y)B_xC_y)_aD_bE_cS_(5+3c/2) : pEu^(2+), qRe^(3+), rQ. In chemical formula, A is a divalent metal excluding alkaline earth metal; B and C are alkaline earth metal; D is a trivalent non-transition metal; E is a trivalent transition metal; Re is a trivalent rare earth metal; Q is halogen; x and y satisfy 0 <= x <= 0.7 and 0 <= y <= 0.2; a, b and c satisfy 1 <= a <= 2, 0.4 <= b <= 3.0 and 0 <= c <= 2.5; and p, q and r satisfy 0.01 <= p <= 0.4, 0 <= q <= 0.19 and 0 <= r <= 3.5. |
