PURPOSE : Cast steel for a slag pot with superior strength and elongation is provided to extend service life and reduce cracks in a slag pot by manufacturing a slag pot of high strength low alloy cast steel. CONSTITUTION : Cast steel for a slag pot(10) with superior strength and elongation comprises C 0.09~0.16 weight%, Mn 0.6~ 1.0 weight%, P 0.025 weight% or less, S 0.025 weight% or less, Si 0.6 weight% or less, Ni 0.09~0.13 weight%, Cr 0.35~0.40 weight%, Mo 0.45~0.55 weight%, rare-earth elements 0.1~1.0 weight%, Nb or V 0.1~0.2 weight%, and the rest including Fe and inevitable impurities. The rare earth materials comprise the Ce component. The rare earth materials include two or more components selected from Nd, La, and Pr. |
