PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a magnet roller which prevents curvature in molding and distortion due to passage of time, and suppresses damage to and falling of support parts, while keeping high magnetic force at a developing main pole.
SOLUTION : A magnet roller 133 comprises : a columnar body part 31; support parts 33 and 34 which are provided on the same axis as the body part 31 in contact with both ends of the body part 31 and which have a columnar shape having a smaller diameter than the body part 31; and a rare-earth magnet block 141 positioned at a developing main pole part provided on a surface of the body part 31. In the magnet roller 133, at least one or more flat surfaces 32a extending outside of the outer diameter of the support parts 33 and 34, in the direction P of the axis of the body part 31, are provided to the body part 31. The rare-earth magnet block 141 is positioned on one of the flat surfaces 32a as the developing main pole part.
