简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To obtain a supermagnetostriction alloy in which the crystallization of heterophases and phase separation do not occur, and which has satisfactory sinterability by a simplified pulverization stage. SOLUTION : In the cast laminate for the magnetostriction material of a rare earth element-iron based alloy, the thickness is 0.1 to 2 mm, the structure in the cross-section consists mainly of an RT2 phase (R represents a rare earth element and T represents Fe or one or more kinds selected from transition elements including Fe) as the main phase, and a phase rich in R compared with the RT2.
