PURPOSE : A backlight unit and liquid crystal display apparatus using the same are provided to enable a user to easily confirm a connection state at the rare side of a bottom cover by improving an assembly state.
CONSTITUTION : Plural light sources(11) emit light. A light source PCB(Printing Circuit Board)(12) includes the light sources. A protrusion unit(13) is projected to the one side of the light source PCB. The light sources are combined with a connector(14) in order to receive operating power from a power supply unit. A bottom cover(70) includes the light source PCB and a penetration hole(76) in which the protrusion unit passes through. The connector is exposed to outside through the penetration hole.
