PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a liquid crystal sealing agent which is superior in display reliability, viscosity stability, adhesive strength and moisture resistance and capable of forming a seal with rare occurrence of deformation and the leakage of liquid crystal.
SOLUTION : A liquid crystal sealing agent becomes hardened in response to light or heat, and includes : (meta) acrylic epoxy resin containing at least one (meta) acrylic group and one epoxy group in one molecule, with a hydrogen bonding functional group equivalent amount in one molecule of less than 3.0×10-3 and a weight average molecular weight of 500 to less than 800; a photo radical polymerization initiator; and a heat latent epoxy curing agent.
