PURPOSE : An apparatus for treating an evaporated gas capable of reducing the amount of re-liquefaction power consumption and a method thereof are provided to cool an evaporated gas with cold and hot of a liquefied gas through heat exchange before liquefaction in a re-liquefaction apparatus or re-condenser.
CONSTITUTION : A storage tank(10) accepts a liquefied gas. A re-liquefaction apparatus(20) performs the re-liquefaction of an evaporated gas which is generated in the storage tank. The re-liquefaction apparatus returns the evaporated gas to the storage tank. A heat exchanger(25) cools the evaporated gas, which is provided from the storage tank to the re-liquefaction apparatus, through heat exchange with the liquefied gas of the storage tank.
