PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To manufacture and work impervious soil while easily and quickly measuring the amount of bentonite contained in earth mixed with bentonite and earth. SOLUTION : This is a method of work for forming impervious soil by laying and spreading a mixture of earth and bentonite. For the earth to be used in the impervious soil, electrical conductance when the amount of bentonite is changed is measured in advance and the calibration curve is determined. The electrical conductance of the mixed earth manufactured in a manufacturing plant is measured, and the amount of the bentonite determined from the calibration curve in the mixture is adjusted until the amount of bentonite in the mixed earth is stabilized to a set amount for manufacturing the impervious soil. This mixed earth manufactured under the control is applied to an impervious region, the electrical conductance of the mixed earth layer worked is measured, and the work for determining the amount of bentonite contained is performed periodically and the mixed earth is sequentially worked out to a layer shape while carrying out the quality control. |
