Disclosed is a method for manufacturing rare-earth based sintered magnet which can eliminate the step of reclaiming a molded defective of rare-earth based sintered magnet resulting from wet molding thereof and which is preferred as a method of preparing a high-performance rare-earth based sintered magnet that has a reduced oxygen content. Also disclosed is a method and apparatus for recycling slurry which are employed for the manufacturing method. The method for recycling slurry includes a step of disintegrating and crushing a molded piece in mineral oil and/or synthetic oil to provide the resultant as recycled slurry, the molded piece having been produced in a magnetic field by wet-molding a slurry made of alloy powder for rare-earth based sintered magnet and mineral oil and/or synthetic oil. |
